Author’s Note
What if there was one creature that could explain the proliferation and universality of belief systems in human culture? One entity that existed to create the seeds of truth in so many myths and legends? Could I write from the point of view of such a thing?
Here is my attempt.
The being comments that ‘the sword cuts both ways’. It should be completely unknowable, but the use of its power has led it to be the most knowable and known thing to the human race. They are inseperable. Perhaps this is what it wants, but I don’t think it realises just how dependent it has become.
