Author’s Note
‘Black dog running’ was one of those phrases that caught my attention. It could mean so many things, and I begun imagining the many stories that are waiting to be told inspired and entitled by that phrase.
Firstly though, I took it literally and wrote about the black dog itself. Originally, these interludes were part of a larger work and I extracted them because I thought they told an interesting story on their own.
I have plans to write more stories based on this phrase but not necessarily about this dog.
