Author’s Note

I love science fiction and just wanted to write about small fighters dogfighting with lasers in space. The influences here are obvious.

I’m happy with the action but, as so often happens, the story took a turn I wasn’t expecting and the whole thing developed an anti-war tang. I don’t mind that at all.
